Baseball Recap: West Caldwell Takes a Loss

West Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Bandys Trojans. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

West Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bandys, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Caldwell will challenge Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton-Conover's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so West Caldwell's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bandys, they will take on West Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
