Castle View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Sabercats who were credited with the victory. Castle View got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Heritage's two. The win made it back-to-back victories for Castle View.

Castle View will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Pine Creek extended their winning streak to 11 on Friday. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand Arapahoe a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Pine Creek, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Arapahoe with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brenna Hallam, Stoneman Ella, and Reece Stoneman.

Pine Creek's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven games. As for Castle View, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-3.

Castle View skirted past Pine Creek 2-1 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabercats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
