Football Recap: Midfield Skates Past Hanceville with Ease

Midfield had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Hanceville Bulldogs 56-20. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Midfield's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Hanceville, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Midfield will face off against rival Carbon Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Keunta Hollins and Michael Baker. Meanwhile, Hanceville is set to challenge their familiar foe Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
