Harlingen waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the San Marcos Rattlers 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Harlingen got a massive performance out of Amaris Gomez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Jozalin Bravo was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Harlingen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Harlingen's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for San Marcos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season.

Harlingen has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 victory against Ray on the 27th. As for San Marcos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Raymondville on the 27th.
