Heritage posted their closest victory since August 28th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rockdale County Bulldogs 2-1. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Heritage had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 15-6.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Rockdale County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Heritage will head out to challenge Cedar Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Rockdale County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
