Baseball Recap: Trotwood-Madison Drops Highest Score of Season Against Belmont

Trotwood-Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 12-7 to the Belmont Bison. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Rams' highest-scoring contest to date.

Trotwood-Madison saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jariah Zigo, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another was Princeton Jones, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Trotwood-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Trotwood-Madison will square off against Thurgood Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belmont, they will take on Yellow Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
