Baseball Recap: Winlock Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Winlock's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Rainier Mountaineers on Thursday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Winlock's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Rainier, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Looking ahead, Winlock will head out to face off against North Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hyaks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.33 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rainier, they will welcome Morton/White Pass at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
