Basketball Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles. The Blue Devils were probably out for revenge after losing 63-55 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Memphis' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Greene County Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Memphis will square off against Nettleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greene County Tech, they will challenge Batesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
