Softball Recap: Bishop Kenny Comes Up Short

Bishop Kenny lost to Atlantic Coast back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell 8-4 to the Stingrays.

Michelle Jones made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Mia Ancayan, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Bishop Kenny's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Atlantic Coast, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Bishop Kenny will square off against Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Atlantic Coast, they will challenge Baker County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
