Football Game Preview: Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic Yellowjackets vs. Torrington Raiders

The Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic Yellowjackets will challenge the Torrington Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic has given up an average of 33.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Naugatuck on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Yellowjackets lost 35-14 to the Greyhounds. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 39 points the game before, Torrington was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Ansonia and fell 39-0.
