Basketball Recap: Lovejoy Skates Past Lithonia with Ease

There's no place like home for Lovejoy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed by the Lithonia Bulldogs to the tune of 56-25 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since December 28, 2024.

Noah Banks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points along with five assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Javion Barkley, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Lovejoy's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Lithonia, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Looking ahead, Lovejoy will face off against Banneker at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lovejoy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season. As for Lithonia, they will head out to face off against Tucker at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
