Basketball Recap: West Holt Huskies vs. Creighton Bulldogs
West Holt took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They took their match with ease, bagging a 61-28 win over the Creighton Bulldogs. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-12.
Zach Hooey had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Konrad, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds.
Creighton is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
