Volleyball Recap: D'Iberville Takes a Loss

D'Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Purvis Tornadoes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

While D'Iberville ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

D'Iberville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Purvis, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

D'Iberville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against St. Martin on the 19th. As for Purvis, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Biloxi on the 16th.
