For the first time this season, Green Canyon will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Logan Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Green Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Green Canyon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Weber just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The loss was Wolves' first of the season.

Cannon Clark wasn't going to let Weber walk away unscathed as he scored both of Green Canyon's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Logan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They never let Bear River get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Logan's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Green Canyon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Green Canyon came out on top in a nail-biter against Logan in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Green Canyon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Logan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
