They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pequot Lakes Patriots. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Albany's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Pequot Lakes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10.
