Volleyball Game Preview: Methuen Rangers vs. Boston College High Eagles

The Methuen Rangers will face off against the Boston College High Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Methuen is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Wednesday, Methuen made easy work of Andover and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-26, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Boston College High came up short against St. John's on Monday and fell 3-1. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Methuen pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Boston College High, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Methuen was able to grind out a solid victory over Boston College High in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
