Baseball Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Bernalillo Spartans
Valley has gone 8-2 against Bernalillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Bernalillo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Valley, who comes in off a win.
Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Del Norte with a sharp 22-0 win on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Adam Montoya looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Bernalillo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
