Soccer Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Glynn Academy Terrors. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Terrors are ranked 108th).

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Glynn Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brunswick will welcome Heritage at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glynn Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hilton Head Island at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
