It was a good run, but University Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Hesperia Christian Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While University Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-6.

University Prep's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Hesperia Christian, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-5.

Looking ahead, University Prep will face off against Academy for Academic Excellence at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hesperia Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Arcadia at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
