Soccer Game Preview: Damonte Ranch vs. Carson

The Damonte Ranch Mustangs will square off against the Carson Senators at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Damonte Ranch is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Bishop Manogue, who was ranked 13th at the time (Damonte Ranch was ranked tenth). The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miners two weeks ago. The loss was Damonte Ranch's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Carson also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Galena by a score of 3-1. Carson have struggled against Galena recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Damonte Ranch fell to 10-1. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Everything went Damonte Ranch's way against Carson in their previous meeting back in September, as Damonte Ranch made off with a 5-1 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Senators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
