Basketball Recap: La Salle College Takes a Loss

La Salle College lost against Roman Catholic back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The La Salle College Explorers fell 65-58 to the Roman Catholic Cahillite. While losing is never fun, the Explorers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Cahillite are ranked second).

La Salle College has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Roman Catholic, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

La Salle College will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Archbishop Wood at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in La Salle College's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 games. Roman Catholic has already played their next contest (against Cardinal O'Hara), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
