Volleyball Recap: Unity Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Unity's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up nine kills. Erickson were helped by Elizabeth Jerrick and Madison Wilhelm, who contributed six assists each. Wilhelm was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Unity has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.
