Baseball Recap: Easthampton/Hampshire Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Easthampton/Hampshire's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wareham Vikings by a score of 8-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Anthony Incampo was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jason Sigda also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Easthampton/Hampshire's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Wareham, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-8-1.

Easthampton/Hampshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wareham, they will challenge Ware at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
