Recap: King Brahmas vs. Alice Coyotes
The King Brahmas fell victim to the Alice Coyotes''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Coyotes 32-0. King has struggled against Alice recently, as their game on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Dylon Everett threw for 150 yards on 11 of 16 attempts. Donavan Bencze was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards. On the ground, Demarious Montgomery rushed for 30 yards.
Roel Gonzalez was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Lucian Cruz was another key contributor, throwing for 121 yards and a touchdown.
King's loss was their fourth straight at home , which bumped their record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.8 points per game. As for Alice, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
King does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alice will square off against Rockport-Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Hopefully Rockport-Fulton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Friday.
