Soccer Game Preview: St. James Academy vs. Saint Thomas Aquinas

St. James Academy is 0-7-2 against Saint Thomas Aquinas since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Thunder will face off against the Saints at 7:00 p.m. St. James Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

St. James Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Michael the Archangel by a score of 2-0. Kate Douglas had the honor of scoring the game-winner for St. James Academy.

Meanwhile, Saint Thomas Aquinas entered their tilt with St. Teresa's Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Stars.

Saint Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. James Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

St. James Academy came up short against Saint Thomas Aquinas in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Thunder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
