Basketball Recap: Nipomo Comes Up Short

After flying high against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy last Saturday, Nipomo came back down to earth. The Titans were dealt a 71-22 loss at the hands of the San Luis Obispo Tigers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Jude Logue was Nipomo's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Aiden Mendoza took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Nipomo's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for San Luis Obispo, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Nipomo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-35 defeat against Templeton on the 4th. As for San Luis Obispo, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-44 loss against Los Gatos on the 4th.
