Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davidson Day Patriots on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The victory (which was Davidson Day's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Northwestern and Davidson Day will both be playing Chapman the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
