Basketball Recap: Hamilton Gets the Win

Hamilton won the last time they faced Seymour, and Jadyn Climer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hamilton Cardinals took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging a 60-30 win over the Seymour Indians thanks in part to Climer, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points along with seven boards and seven steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Seymour, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Hamilton will host Lewistown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lewistown's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so Hamilton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Seymour, they and Mendon Unity will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
