North Stokes saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Woods, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Mount Airy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to Starmount.

North Stokes has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. Mount Airy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

North Stokes might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Mount Airy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can North Stokes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
