            Baseball Recap: La Farge Wildcats vs. Seneca Indians        
        
		
        
        
            La Farge had lost three straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-12 to make it four. They came up short against  the Seneca Indians, falling  8-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  27-0  defeat  back in April.
As for Seneca, the  victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-2. Considering they have won nine matches by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
For Seneca's part,  Briar Wall and  Gage Wall were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Wall   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Gage   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Briar has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  Wall  went 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Gage  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  stolen bases  Gage has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Kaden Roberts was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Owen Oppriecht, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. La Farge will  face off against  rival Ithaca  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seneca is set to  take on  their familiar foe Wauzeka-Steuben  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
