Sequoyah won the last time they faced Woodstock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chiefs blew past the Wolverines 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs.

Sequoyah not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Woodstock between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Elle Gemberling paced Sequoyah's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gemberling got some help from Mackinley Parrott and her 29 assists. Maria Fisher and Leni Hansraj kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Woodstock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Sequoyah will face off against River Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
