Basketball Recap: Purchase Line Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Purchase Line unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 55-30 to the Portage Mustangs on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Dragons in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Portage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyson Burkett, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 10 points along with eight boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylin Walker, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points.

Portage now has a winning record of 2-1.
