Football Recap: Stratton Eagles vs. Prairie Mustangs
Stratton won the last time they faced Prairie, and things went their way on Friday too. The Stratton Eagles blew past the Prairie Mustangs 61-14. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by 32 points or more this season.
Stratton found their leader in freshman Judson Isenbart, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Isenbart's longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Stockton Fye, who rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns.
Stratton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Prairie only rushed for 96.
Stratton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Von Isenbart.
