Softball Recap: Pleasant Hope Takes a Loss

If Pleasant Hope was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Conway last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates came up short against the Billings Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 14-7.

Pleasant Hope now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Billings, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Hope will head out on the road to face off against Stockton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Billings, they will host Fordland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
