Softball Game Preview: Inman Inman Teutons vs. Little River Redskins

The Inman Inman Teutons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Little River Redskins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Little River took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Inman, who comes in off a win.

Inman will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Moundridge, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Inman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over Moundridge back in March of 2024.

Alexis Noone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Lyla Levin was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Taylor Froese was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Little River came up short against Ell-Saline on Tuesday, falling 35-21. The defeat continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

The victory got Inman back to even at 1-1. As for Little River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Inman took their win against Little River in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-5. Will Inman repeat their success, or does Little River has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
