Basketball Game Preview: Lindale Eagles vs. Chapel Hill Bulldogs

Lindale and Chapel Hill are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Lindale Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Chapel Hill Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lindale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lindale took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 51-25 margin over Van. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Chapel Hill was able to grind out a solid win over Spring Hill on Tuesday, taking the game 35-28.

Chapel Hill's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-10. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Lindale, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Lindale didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Chapel Hill in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-35 win. Will Lindale repeat their success, or does Chapel Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
