The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither East Ridge nor Woodbury made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Raptors came out on top against the Royals by a score of 6-2. The Raptors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

East Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Woodbury, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Ridge will face off against rival Stillwater at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raptors 3.8, the Ponies 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Woodbury is set to challenge their familiar foe Mounds View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
