Baseball Game Preview: Sulphur Bulldogs vs. Ardmore Tigers

For the second straight game, Sulphur will face off against Ardmore. Sulphur will head out on the road to square off against Ardmore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sulphur's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Ardmore's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Sulphur will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Thursday, then bounced right back against Ardmore on Monday. Sulphur blew past Ardmore 14-3. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sulphur let Colten Cole and Luke Linville run wild. Cole went 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI, while Linville scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those five RBI gave Cole a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Matlack, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Ardmore's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Sulphur, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
