Baseball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Gilbert Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Johns Redskins.

Ethan Lister was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Gilbert Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for St. Johns, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Gilbert Classical Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Superior at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Johns, they will be playing at home against Holbrook at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
