             Delta Charter hasn't had much luck against Stockton Christian recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Delta Charter Dragons' homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Stockton Christian Eagles at 5:00  p.m. The last three games Delta Charter has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 On Tuesday, Delta Charter had just enough and edged Humphreys Able Charter out  3-2.
 Delta Charter wouldn't go down easily and took Humphreys Able Charter into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-19, 25-10, 21-25,  15-8.
  Maddie Montagnese went supernova for Delta Charter,  getting ten  aces and eight  kills. The dominant performance gave  Montagnese a new career-high in  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joie Valencia, who  had six  aces and three  kills.
 She wasn't the only good server: Delta Charter  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 29  aces. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  aces per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 21.4.
 Meanwhile, Stockton Christian was able to grind out a solid  victory over Tioga on Tuesday, taking the game  3-1.
 Delta Charter is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record  this season. As for Stockton Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
