Baseball Game Preview: City College Black Knights vs. Aberdeen Eagles

The City College Black Knights will face off against the Aberdeen Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

City College is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Edgewood get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Black Knights have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aberdeen). Everything went their way against Patterson on Thursday as they made off with a 26-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory was the fifth in a row for City College, bringing their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Aberdeen, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-7.
