Softball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Has No Trouble Against Howardsville Christian

Michigan Lutheran won the last time they faced Howardsville Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans blew past the Eagles 16-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Anna Sysak made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Sysak was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Sysak, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Allie Lesher was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Michigan Lutheran hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters every time they've taken the field this season.

Michigan Lutheran now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Howardsville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
