Softball Game Preview: Moultonborough Academy Panthers vs. Lisbon Panthers

Moultonborough Academy is a perfect 7-0 against Lisbon since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Moultonborough Academy will welcome Lisbon at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Moultonborough Academy beat Littleton 11-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Evelynn Buy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Sammy Nagle, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, Lisbon made easy work of Gorham on Friday and carried off a 14-2 win.

The victory got Lisbon back to even at 1-1. As for Moultonborough Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything went Moultonborough Academy's way against Lisbon in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Moultonborough Academy made off with a 30-18 victory.
