Baseball Recap: Medway Comes Up Short

Medway was the 11-3 winner over Norton when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 5-2 to the Lancers on Monday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Medway saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Bosse, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Medway's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Norton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Medway will be playing in front of their home fans against Uxbridge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norton, they will head out to take on Bellingham at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blackhawks have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
