Cornwall Central took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans by a score of 10-3. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Danny Twomey threw for 50 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Reef Morrison was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornwall Central is headed away from home for the first time to take on Newburgh Free Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they will head out to challenge Saratoga Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
