Soccer Recap: Rapides Comes Up Short

Rapides's tournament run continued when they took on Walker on Saturday. The Rapides Mustangs fell just short of the Walker Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rapides' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for Walker, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rapides and Sterlington will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walker, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Walker face off against the Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
