Volleyball Recap: John Paul II Snags Tenth Win in Last 13 Games

John Paul II won the last time they faced Ursuline Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 21-25, 25-10.

Aubrey Easterwood paced John Paul II's offense, picking up 20 kills. Easterwood got some help from Lucy Schwabauer and her 44 assists. Easterwood was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

John Paul II is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season. As for Ursuline Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, John Paul II and Ursuline Academy will both be playing Prestonwood Christian the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
