Volleyball Recap: New Life Academy Comes Up Short

New Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Victory Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-20.

New Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Victory Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Academy will face off against Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Victory Christian, they will head out to challenge Ahoskie Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
