Basketball Game Preview: Vestaburg Wolverines vs. Coleman Comets

The Vestaburg Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Coleman Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Vestaburg is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Montabella just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to the Mustangs 42-37.

Meanwhile, Coleman was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 45-41 to St. Charles.

Vestaburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Coleman, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Vestaburg took their victory against Coleman when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 57-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vestaburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
