Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield lost against Northridge back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fairfield Falcons were beaten by the Northridge Raiders 66-34. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Northridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Fairfield will head out to face off against Central Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Noble will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Fairfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northridge, they will face off against DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully DeKalb likes a good challenge.
